Vehicles for passenger flights (air taxis, etc.) are very topical and there are many projects underway, but what is not clear is who will reach the goal and be able to offer certified vehicles to potential clients. .
But it is clear that with each passing day, we are one day closer to that date, and the business seems to be very big, although after the prices of the trips are known, perhaps it is not as big as many imagine.
But until that day arrives, everyone promises them very happily, and from time to time new projects appear with more or less different proposals.
Today I comment on the case of the Cyclo Tech company that has presented a very original flying vehicle. It is based on several Cyclo Rotors with encapsulated moving parts that rotate and generate an air flow that lifts the vehicle above the ground and makes it fly through the air.

According to the company, its vehicle can fly at 150 km/h. and travel a radius of 100 km, which is more than enough for what is needed in large cities.

From there, to having a product that is certifiable by the Civil Aviation authorities, there is a long way to go. But as many small companies with potentially good ideas do, along the way they can be bought by someone with a lot of money making rich those who had that idea.
We'll see if this idea comes to reality one day. Which of course, is not going to be very soon.
