Every day there are more people who insert a "chip" into their body to carry out some type of activity, and the most normal is usually to make online payments. If someone puts a chip in their hand, to make a payment they just have to bring their hand close to the payment device, and the payment is made in an instant.

The procedure is similar to the one we carry out with our mobile or smart watch, with the difference that it is the same person who has the chip inside.

Many will think (and I do too) that it is not worth undergoing an operation, however simple, to do something that you can also do with a small device on your wrist, but I guess those people feel a little special and they like be like that. It must be recognized that they do no harm to anyone.

The system is safe because the chip that is placed under the skin is stable and only reacts when it is close to radiation (of the RFID or NFC type), sending its response.

More than 20 years have passed since the first micro-chip was implanted in a human being, and there are hundreds of people who have it and it is a trend that is increasing. Up to how much?

In the case of dogs, it is done as a rule. A chip is placed under their skin to have their data and full identification.

Nobody knows the future, but it is not unreasonable to think that we have something that identifies us and accumulates much of our personal history. How and where that information is placed remains to be seen.

Because where and how that information is placed is relative and depends on the tastes of each one. But, in my opinion, the most important thing by far is how the privacy of our data is treated.
