When I saw this news I had a bit of a hard time in believing it, and when I later saw the company video I was more than impressed. Because, it seemed that they offered a kind of "farm" to raise babies, since they claimed to be able to raise 30,000 babies a year.

The idea offered by the Ectolife company is the possibility of conceiving a child without the need for a maternal uterus, and in this case an artificial uterus would be used that provides all the vital parts that a woman's uterus offers.

This possibility could be useful in the case of women with a serious problem that prevents them from developing a child in their body, and although the presentation video is very spectacular, I understand that it is an idea that must be brought to reality, if it receives permission from the health authorities.

The company announces the possibility of a "machine" that contains and grows the baby in a house, or in the "company" that offers the service of developing the baby in one of the artificial wombs within its facilities.

The idea is completely new, and I don't know how much previous development they will have done in the Ectolife company. They do not even claim to have any type of more or less operational prototype.

The shocking video I was referring to earlier can be seen at:

The proponents of the idea ( Ectolife ) have already managed to get everyone to talk about them, as the video went viral in a short time. What later is the reality remains to be seen

But it's an idea that could solve many women's infertility problems. And that's why I don't think it should be discarded.

Time will tell us if this is an idea to offer a product or service to the market, or if it remains "curious" news to surprise the people.
