We all know that drones have multiple capabilities, but I just saw one that combines aerial and aquatic qualities to perform all kinds of underwater activities, after flying to the place where it should work.

In general, to use an underwater drone you must use a boat and then place the drone under water to perform its function. And that supposes technical and human resources, and ultimately added costs.

The new drone that I am talking about called FIFISH ROV can fly from land to a position in the sea, and there "liberate" an underwater robot that performs the function under the water.

Its great advantage is the economy of means, since a person with a tablet can monitor the tasks to be carried out from land, see in real time what is happening underwater, and send this information wherever it is necessary.

In the following diagram you can see how to operate.

And you can see a very interesting video at: https://youtu.be/xSDCXMviEzw

Several companies have worked on this project for more than 6 years and they hope to put the drone on sale in this year 2022.

I am clear that it is going to be easier and easier to control what happens under the water, and this type of device will be of great help to simplify and lower the costs of these operations

Carrying out activities under water has always been very expensive, but with this type of device it is starting to stop being so and we will see more and more activities in the underwater environment.

We have to think that three quarters of our planet is covered by water, and therefore the opportunities are many and varied.
