Not long ago, the results of Artificial Intelligence (AI) regarding the photos it provides when text is entered have been widely discussed. They are new images that do not exist previously, but are generated by the AI program in response to the text that is entered.

There are two companies that have generated these types of programs: OpenAI and Google.

OpenAI first appeared with its DALL-E 2 program, and a few weeks later Google did so with its Image program. Experts say that Image performs somewhat better than DALL-E 2, although the differences are not very big.

The tests they have shown are "beautiful", imaginative and curious, as I indicate in the photo below. But we have to be aware that not all the photos generated by these programs are like that.

Companies present us with selected photos that do not offend anyone, but this AI is known to generate a huge crowd of “garbage” that has been filtered by Google and OpenAI. We only see what they want to show us.

These programs, like all AI, are based on obtaining huge amounts of information on the Internet. And the "garbage" that is on the Internet is reflected in the real results of these programs. It cannot be otherwise

In fact, the two companies have very controlled their programs and do not let anyone use them, except for some highly qualified experts.

If some programs present us with some great things but we are not able to eliminate the possible toxicity that they contribute, those programs do not serve us. And I guess that's why Google and OpenAI technicians are still working on the matter.

But make no mistake dear friends, the underlying problem is the great dump that the Internet has become. In a place where garbage is put, garbage is taken out. And when there is a lot of garbage together, it results in more garbage.

And this is the Internet today. Something that everyone knows, but they can't seem to find a way to solve it. Will they one day?
