Amazon has more than a million people working to distribute products to its customers, and they have very clear that automation is one of its strengths to remain at the forefront of its business.
On the other hand, Amazon is one of the most automated companies in the world, and because it is aware of this technological advantage, it continues to take rapid steps to further improve its automation, and for this it uses all kinds of robots.
Not long ago they have presented a robotic hand that can handle around 1,000 products per hour, something that a human cannot do at all. And besides, that robot never gets tired.

It is surprising how easy this robot is able to manipulate objects (products) of different types, shapes and sizes; and with time (not too much) this will only get better. And consequently, in a short time, these advances will mean that fewer people are needed to do the jobs they do today.
We must not fool ourselves, automation is positive for some things, but like everything in life it has its downsides. And the main counterpart is that it means reducing the hiring of personnel.
A company like Amazon with more than a million workers is surely willing to reduce its wage bill, although some of its managers say just the opposite. But they don't even believe that.
It is the sign of the times. Companies automate to offer better service and be more competitive. And we all have to adapt to these changes that are coming, and the sooner we do it, the better it will be for us.
