I am very clear that one of the activities that we must do to recover a part of nature that we have lost is to plant trees, and that these trees are appropriate to the natural environment in which they are planted.

But planting trees requires technical and human means, and that costs money and also takes a long time to do. Something that some have also seen, and have developed a specific drone and the necessary technology to facilitate and reduce the costs of this task.

I have seen that the company AirSeed Technologies   www.airseedtech.com  has developed a technology to facilitate the growth of seeds by adding minerals and other substances that facilitate their grip and initial growth in the soil, and a drone for planting these seeds prepared in an efficient way.

You can see a video of the seed at:

The drone is loaded with the seeds, and the space to be planted is programmed. And in a few minutes it drops the seeds that it has deposited in its container, being able to sow about 40,000 each day, with a team of two people.

The system is apparently simple (that's why I like it), and it has the advantage that the drone remembers the GPS positions where it has dropped the seeds; and that information can later be used to monitor tree growth from any other drone.

A video can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/fPolyjx4TVM

According to the company AirSeed, they claim that they make tree planting cheaper by 80%, doing quickly and agilely something what now requires a lot of labor.

I think they have had a very good idea, and I hope they do very well.
