It has been presented by the REE company and is its P7-C model. It has the particularity that it is completely modular, and is the first fully “bywire” certified truck in the USA. Driving, braking, etc. all the information is sent entirely by wire to the different parts of the vehicle.

You can see the company website at  https://ree.auto/

It is a medium-type electric cargo truck, up to about 3000 kg of load, and the chassis with its batteries is very flat and placed very low, to improve operating conditions.

Due to its characteristics, it is very suitable for transporting goods in urban environments, since it is silent and produces no emissions.

There are other trucks of this size that are already on the market, and this one has the particularity that it has been fully certified “bywired”, and that its rear wheels rotate to help it be more maneuverable, something that is very desirable in a city.

I have not seen their sales prices, something that is essential for any type of vehicle, and especially these commercial vehicles that try to pay for themselves in the shortest possible time.

The idea seems good to me and it is different, but that does not guarantee that it will be maintained in such a competitive market. Time will tell.
