The two most used nearby communications technologies today are: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and both are implemented in all the devices we use in our daily lives, such as mobile phones, laptops, etc...
But not long ago Huawei has presented a new communications technology that it has called Nearlink , which is a mix of the two, allowing devices to connect to each other without having to connect to the Internet, and of course it comes with a series of improvements.
Power consumption is 60% lower, transmission speed is 6 times higher, 10 times more networks can be connected, etc…. Therefore, the chances of it being accepted by the market are high.
For it to be used in the market, this technology must be integrated into small, low-price chips, and thus improve the current situation, something that I suppose the friends of Huawei are very clear about.
Of course its applications would be the same as we have today:
Connect devices to others
Make payments with our mobile devices
Listen to our wireless headphones
Etc …
And the advantages are implicit in its technical characteristics:
Lower power consumption and therefore longer battery life
Higher data transmission speed
Etc …
It remains to be seen when this technology that seems so promising begins to be truly used in the market. I wish the best to those at Huawei and congratulate them on this new idea.
