If you can't beat them, join them. This is what some people have thought to create the ByFusion company that uses non-recycled plastics to make blocks that can be used in the construction of any type of buildings
It is known that plastics are not easy to recycle and one way that they do not end up polluting our planet is to collect them and use them in other applications. The people at ByFusión compress them and, based on pressure and steam, make concentrated plastic bricks that can be used as construction material.
The size of the bricks is 40 x 20 x 20 cm. each and weigh 10 Kg. They are stacked one on top of the other and building walls can be built as if they were cement blocks similar to those used in construction.
To assemble them, no tools or special means are required, and their resistance is much higher than the cement blocks they replace. You can see a demo video later.

The fact that these ByFusion people are capable of providing an alternative to non-recycled plastics does not mean that they have to be generated. The fewer plastics we use, the better, but since they exist, it is good to find different alternatives for their use.
You can see a ByFusion video where you can see how easy it is to build with these "bricks": https://youtu.be/vVdQAumtb6I
I wish the friends of ByFusion the best of luck, because if they are successful it will mean that we are eliminating a lot of plastic from our environment that does not contaminate it. And that will be good for everyone.
