Research has been going on for a long time to find a means to replace the mobile or computer screen to present us with the information we want to have.

More than 10 years ago, Google presented its Google Glass that did not convince the majority, although they have remained for some applications; and others have continued to present new glasses to display the information that interests us on their lenses.

But others have gone further and in other ways, working to present the information in contact lenses that we would place on our eyes, and in them we would see the desired information.

The contact lens has the discomfort compared to the glasses, that we have to place it on our eye, and that many people may not like (as is my case), but it has the advantage of its small size and great flexibility.

The company called Mojo is working in this field and has already presented a prototype that corrects the user's vision, and also incorporates a micro-LED screen, with sensors and a solid-state battery

There are many people who resist these types of products because they have to do with human health (eyesight). For them, contact lenses must prioritize their therapeutic function in the eye over any other. But I think that if the former is preserved, the products can have various additional functions.

This topic is still in its infancy, but there are quite a few people researching smart contact lenses that can do more than just correct vision.

Time will tell
