Some leaders in the luxury car market such as Rolls and Bentley have already announced that their cars will soon be fully electric. Rolls-Royce has announced that in 2030 it will no longer make gasoline cars and its next electric model called Spectre will appear in 2023
After almost 130 years manufacturing gasoline cars with the quietest engine, technological changes are imposed and Rolls-Royce will stop manufacturing its famous engine to put an electric one in its place, which of course will also be silent, but it will no longer differentiate so much from the rest of electric motors on the market.
And those who pay hundreds of thousands of euros for a car, what they pay is for the difference of what they get. I am convinced that the car will continue to be excellent and very comfortable, but that it will no longer be as different as it has been up to now, although perhaps the Rolls-Royce engineers will take an ace out of their sleeves to remain different.
Not long ago the company announced that its order book for cars was one of the largest in its history, but did not provide exact figures. And we must not forget that Rolls-Royce had to be bought by BMW in 1998 to be able to continue in the market.

The forced electrification of the automotive world offers risks and opportunities for all, and since electric motors are more "equal" than before, manufacturers will have to make an effort to differentiate themselves in other sections of the car.
The characteristics or the price of the future Specter model are not known, but the fans of the brand will be willing to pay a good sum of money to feel different from the rest of the mortals.
I am really curious to know what Rolls-Royce offers differently so that they continue to buy their models.
But what is clear is that the luxury car niche is also adapting to the changes brought by new technologies. And it remains to be seen how they continue to differentiate themselves and charge a special price for their products.
