There are drones for all kinds of tastes and for all kinds of applications, and quite a few of them are for people to fly. And within that type, a few are for individual flights, that is, for people to glide through the air and enjoy their flight.

I am going to comment on the case of the drone called  BlackFly  from the company Opener    https://opener.aero/    This is one of the many start-ups in California, and it has been developing a drone for several years that allows a person to fly alone. It is a restricted market, but it is a market that is there, and depending on the product and its price, it could be successful, since there are many people who would like to have a similar toy.

It's an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with stubby wings in front of and behind the pilot, each with four motors and propellers capable of getting him airborne. The pilot is in a cockpit covered with a plexiglas dome for comfortable access to the outside world.

This drone (or plane) falls within the characteristics of ultralights, and therefore does not require full approval from the FAA. The prototypes have already carried out more than a hundred test flights, and the company intends to be able to put it on sale within this year 2023. After that, reality will be whatever it is.

To this day I have not been able to get the estimated sale price of this device, but the company's website accepts emails from people who are interested in buying one.

As a "toy" it seems fun, although I don't know how safe it is for the one who drives it. But everyone lives their life however they want
