{"id":511,"date":"2022-01-27T08:47:54","date_gmt":"2022-01-27T07:47:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/?p=511"},"modified":"2022-01-27T08:47:55","modified_gmt":"2022-01-27T07:47:55","slug":"el-nuevo-modelo-de-auto-compartido","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/en\/el-nuevo-modelo-de-auto-compartido\/","title":{"rendered":"The new car-sharing model"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Views: 23<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a few years the use of car sharing has been increasing, which began with Uber and has spread to many other companies such as Cabify, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But until now these companies use normal cars, and recently a company called <strong>Arrival<\/strong> has appeared that has designed a specific car to perform the car sharing function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The design has been done by collaborating with people from Uber to ensure that their needs are met without incurring unnecessary added costs, and in this way being able to offer a \"different\" car that is a mix between SUV and van, and in which the seats in the rear end offer more space than that offered by a luxury model like the Rolls-Royce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the driving area it has a large screen (like almost all new cars) to control all the functions of the car without using keys, or switches, or anything similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the car is designed for carpooling, the passenger seat can be folded to give more space for passengers and their luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Auto-Arrival.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-512\" width=\"644\" height=\"425\" srcset=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Auto-Arrival.jpg 500w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Auto-Arrival-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Auto-Arrival-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 644px) 100vw, 644px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As is normal in a new company, the car is electric but its technical characteristics have hardly been advanced, and the owners of the company are looking for financial support to carry out their project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far the company has made the design and hopes to put it into production by 2023, but moving from design to manufacturing will not be an easy step. It\u2019s needed a good industrial experience to make reliable and durable products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea is not bad, but that does not mean that these cars will be seen driving on the street in a couple of years. As time goes by, it will be more difficult for new start-ups to enter the electric car market, as all the major manufacturers are announcing new models for the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uber has announced that it plans to use Arrival's cars in London, but for that someone will have to build them first.
