But when it comes to taking robots outside, into hostile terrain, the complexity increases exponentially. Mountainous terrain, desert terrain, and steep slopes demand greater sophistication and resilience from motion and control systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I want to share with you some fascinating examples of robots working in these challenging environments. Although there are many more, these videos give a good idea of the capabilities and innovations being developed. I hope you enjoy them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conquering the Desert and Mountains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first video shows a robot capable of navigating through steep desert terrain. It's impressive to see how it combines the use of wheels with legs, adapting to different terrain conditions. This is revolutionary, as it eliminates the need for extensive programming.
