And that takes less time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universal Hydrogen is a Los Angeles-based startup that is developing a hydrogen-powered aircraft. The company's goal is to make hydrogen-powered flight commercially viable by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universal Hydrogen's technology is based on a modular hydrogen fuel cell system that can be retrofitted to existing aircraft. Hydrogen-powered planes could help reduce emissions from aviation, which is a major contributor to climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They have recently announced that they are going to carry out new flight tests in the Mojave desert (USA), to try to meet their goal of going on the market in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Universal Hydrogen is still in the early stages of development, but the company has made significant progress. It has conducted several test flights and has partnered with various airlines and hydrogen-producing companies. If Universal Hydrogen is successful, it could have a huge impact on the aviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But this idea of using hydrogen as a fuel still has to solve the challenge of the cost of green hydrogen and its flammability. The cost will go down over time, and the flammability of hydrogen can be contained with proper handling and packaging. They don't seem like intractable problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite these challenges, hydrogen-powered aircraft have the potential to revolutionize the aviation industry. If the technology is successful, it could help make air travel more sustainable and environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In general, hydrogen-powered aircraft have the potential to be a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option than conventional aircraft. However, there are still some challenges that need to be addressed before hydrogen-powered aircraft can become commercially viable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are other companies that have similar projects and also intend to adapt already existing aircraft models, and of which many units have been manufactured.
