Apple Cash is backed by Green Dot Bank, which is an American financial institution, and which is FDIC insured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the moment Apple has not applied for a banking license, and therefore it is not a bank. What it does is collaborate with financial institutions to offer these services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple is at the head of global companies, and possibly the one with the most customers.
