But not everyone who tries it will be able to stay in it for a long time, because the competition will become more and more difficult every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And especially by the companies that are already car manufacturers, and that do not want to miss the \"train\" of the new electric car. Some (I think the majority) have been a bit asleep, they have been surprised by Tesla's success and they do not want that company to continue taking advantage of them in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only a few Chinese companies sell more cars than Tesla, but they do so in their domestic market, and now they are trying to break into foreign markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have always been especially surprised by the apathy of Toyota that has dominated the hybrid car sector for many years, and only now seems to want to wake up and propose electric cars for the new years. It is somewhat late but it has significant economic and industrial means to manufacture new electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the latest surprises has been the presentation of Honda and Sony to manufacture a new electric car called Afeela. And this has led to all kinds of comments, some a bit sarcastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Coche-Afeela.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1653\" width=\"546\" height=\"364\" srcset=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Coche-Afeela.jpg 500w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Coche-Afeela-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Coche-Afeela-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Honda is another company that has fallen asleep to enter the electric car market, but it has extensive experience in manufacturing cars with recognized quality, and on the other hand, Sony is an important company in the world of computing, of games in computer and the APP's that can run on mobile phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two together, if they hurry, could have a chance to gain a foothold in the electric car market of the future. But it depends on how fast they are, and on the success of the car that they present to users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new head of this company is one of the managers of Honda, who knows the ground he is on, and has recognized (correctly) that the most important thing about the new car is going to be the software. Hence the importance of having Sony in the car's development, manufacturing and subsequent maintenance team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They have commented that the new car will have more than 45 sensors and cameras, to provide aids for semi-autonomous driving, as well as augmented reality experiences, etc... This is just talking to try to attract the attention of new potential users, since the car will not be available until 2026, or maybe later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sony has manufacturing plants in the USA with which it can benefit from President Biden's aid for new electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, remember that making cars is something very complex, especially when the models are new.
