The patient must emit some phonemes (predetermined sounds) in front of the mobile, and thus transmit the information to the system that analyzes it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The phonemes used are sounds that require the use of the throat, mouth and nose, and are language independent, so they can be used for people who speak different languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The App that goes on the mobile is called \u00a0<strong>Aum<\/strong> and in some initial tests carried out with 36 Parkinson's patients and 36 healthy people, it was able to detect 100% of the patients; in addition to being able to detect patients who were taking medication, from those who were not<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Parkinison-movil.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1470\" width=\"548\" height=\"308\" srcset=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Parkinison-movil.jpg 450w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Parkinison-movil-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Parkinison-movil-18x10.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 548px) 100vw, 548px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The great advantage of this system is, first of all, its simplicity of use, and also the possibility of carrying out the tests remotely by means of a mobile phone. That way it can be easily applied to remote places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tests have also been carried out with patients who had lung or Covid ailments, and it has been proven that the AI system is also capable of detecting these diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is one more example of how new technologies can help us in the early detection of diseases, in order to combat them more successfully.
