And it is very logical that it does so, it is the leading company in its market and it intends to remain so for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those who don't know, an Amazon-owned company develops and manufactures robots around Boston, and they manufacture many thousands of them each year, which Amazon then distributes through its plants around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knowledge of robotics has been one of the \"legs\" on which Amazon's growth in the field of logistics has been based. In a warehouse near Boston it does most of the testing of its new robots, and when the whole system works properly, they move it to the rest of their warehouses around the world. They are not stupid at Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of their latest robots that they have presented is called Sparrow, it is a robotic arm that has vision and Artificial Intelligence to identify products and place them in boxes, and it already identifies more than 65% of its inventory, and as time goes by it continues to learn and improving their capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can see a photo at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Robot-Sparrow.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1467\" width=\"584\" height=\"301\" srcset=\"https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Robot-Sparrow.jpg 500w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Robot-Sparrow-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/desdelaterrazadeamador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Robot-Sparrow-18x9.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world of robots (which I love) is only increasing its applications and entering all businesses, as it makes operations more reliable and lowers operating costs. And every day they have more and better capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon is one of the largest companies in the world employing more than 1.5 million people, despite having tens of thousands of robots working in its warehouses. And he has been testing the use of robots to make home deliveries for years, which is not easy at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And although it is true that many Amazon workers have evolved to work in the maintenance of robots, improving their employment situation, many others perform low-level work that over time becomes performed by robots, and their employment situation is more than precarious<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And although Amazon managers continue to say in public statements that they will continue to rely on their workers, we should not be fooled, as time goes by and robots become more efficient, they will absorb a significant part of the work of lower-income workers level and these will be running out of their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That's not good or bad, it's simply like that.
